Information Technology Intern| Nairobiย
Responsibilities: Serve as a point of contact for IT support calls and ensures that they are logged into JIRA for Kenya & Madagascar staff; Assist the Kenya & Madagascar IT Officer with the roll-out of Local IT projects; Provide day to day end user support on general computer applications and IT systems in the Country and Field Offices; Provide training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software; Serves as the direct contact for mobile data devices including support & configuration; Support backing up data from all computers routinely and ensure that backed up data is always secure; Analyze, design and develop web or mobile applications systems as per user requirements and organization standards.
Child Protection Officer| Turkanaย
Responsibilities: Manage case workers staff annual leave and time off ensuring minimal disruption to programme activities; Collect required data, coordinate with the MEAL team on a monthly basis, and ensure data is correctly captured; Identify and build links with other partners, ensuring that issues for child protection are raised and addressed; Coordinate the identification, follow up of children in alternative care and, monitoring of foster parents/Guardianship; Design a capacity building strategy for caseworkers and other stakeholders involved in the of BIA & BID process; Actively participate in interagency coordination meetings such as BID panels, CPWG and Case conferences at the field office.
Safety and Security Intern| Nairobi
Responsibilities: Assist in compiling daily security information to facilitate monthly reporting and decision-making process; Assist in planning and preparation of field visit support; Update and maintain an up-to-date security/communication tree and conduct monthly tests of the security/communication tree; Support staff in reporting incidents in Datix; Support Operation Coordinator during Staff training; Support in the emergency and contingency planning documentation.
Finance Intern| Nairobi
Responsibilities: Prepares the General Ledger and Cash Offline Spreadsheets (GLACOS), ensuring accuracy in charge codes.; Supports with the monthly bank reconciliation process; Supports in processing monthly payroll statutory deductions to the regulatory authorities; Prepares General Ledger and Cash Offline Spreadsheet for posting in the financial system; Back up of finance documents in DMS on a timely manner; Performs single account/balance sheet account reconciliations on a weekly basis, preparing schedules for review by the Finance Officer.

Supply Chain Intern| Nairobi
Responsibilities: Support with receiving of goods in the warehouse, ensure the receipt physical quantity is matching the delivery note and liaise with Program for inspection of the goods; While the Supply Chain Assistant is away, provide cover in the warehouse with releasing of program stock for distribution, arranging the warehouse and updating the bin cards; Support the Supply chain Assistant to analyze and check fleet data on running costs, utilization and recharging; Support the Supply Chain Assistant to review rotation and fair distribution of field hired vehicles and report any gaps identified; Support with draft catalogue generation for upload in ProSave.
Administration Intern| Nairobi
Responsibilities: Handling incoming and outgoing correspondences for the office; Issuing stationaries and Consumable supplies; Monitoring inventory levels to ensure store records match between the physical stock and bin cards; Performing clerical tasks such as filing, recording deliveries and tracking parcels; Help in maintaining trackers and reports in excel; Gain knowledge on GPE (General Programme Equipment) management.; Learning how to use Cost Benefit Tracking tool to analyze and report on cost efficiency.

Responsibilities: Full time management of front desk; Manage the office switchboard, answer telephones and direct calls to relevant persons; Greet and welcome all Kenya Country Office (KCO) visitors and direct them to the relevant staff/persons; Responsible for ensuring that the front office is always tidy and clean; Send and receive office mail and parcels via courier and maintain a tracker for the same; File and maintain files of front desk documents.
