Clinical Nurse Instructor

This position reports to the Nurse Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Instruction and Training:
- Develop and deliver nursing education programs and clinical training sessions for students and staff.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies to enhance learning and skill acquisition.
Clinical Supervision:
- Oversee and assess the clinical performance of nursing students and staff in healthcare settings.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve clinical competencies.
Curriculum Development:
- Participate in developing and revising nursing curricula, ensuring alignment with best practices and nursing education standards.
- Incorporate evidence-based practices and the latest research into educational content.
Assessment and Evaluation:

Mentorship and Support:

Qualifications, Regulatory & Legal Requirements
- Must be a qualified Registered Nurse (KRN/RM/KRCHN/KRNM/KRNMPH/BSCN).
- A higher diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is or related field.
- Certification in nursing education or a related field is preferred.
- Must have valid licensure from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Medical Surgical Nurse Manager

Leadership and Management:
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.

Qualifications, Regulatory & Legal Requirements
- Must be a qualified Registered Nurse (KRN/RM/KRCHN/KRNM/KRNMPH/BSCN).
- Must have a higher diploma in a nursing field or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a relevant basic degree from a recognized institution
- Certification courses on management or leadership is an added advantage.
- Must have a valid licensure from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Minimum twelve (12) years of nursing experience with three years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Must have a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting.
