Job Summary
The Control Room Attendant will be responsible for monitoring and managing various operations within the control room, ensuring that all activities are conducted smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the security and operational integrity of our services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Complaint and Query Management
- Handle customer complaints: Take full responsibility for addressing and resolving customer complaints, ensuring that all issues are handled with the utmost care and attention to detail.
- Respond to queries: Provide accurate and timely responses to customer queries, ensuring that all information provided is clear and helpful.
- Information requests: Manage and fulfill requests for information from customers and other stakeholders promptly and efficiently.
2. Reporting and Documentation
- Ensure timely reporting: Prepare and share reports as agreed upon with stakeholders, ensuring that there are no delays in the dissemination of important information.
- Investigative duties: Conduct thorough investigations into all issues reported through the department, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to resolve these issues effectively.
3. Fleet Support and Tracking
- Assist the fleet support team: Provide support during weekends in linking and delinking vehicles, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Confirm tracking status: Verify the tracking status of units installed by technicians, ensuring that all units are properly linked and functioning as expected.
- Monitor offline vehicles: Send commands to all offline vehicles to ensure they are brought back online as quickly as possible.
4. High Alert Vehicle Monitoring
- Communicate tracking status: Ensure that the tracking status of all high-alert vehicles is communicated to the relevant business source promptly, minimizing risks and ensuring the safety of our fleet.
5. Additional Duties
- Additional responsibilities: Undertake any other duties as assigned by your supervisor, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Job Requirements
1. Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Degree/Diploma: A degree or diploma in a technology-related field is required, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
2. Skills and Competencies
- Computer application skills: Proficient in the use of computer applications, with a strong emphasis on customer care skills.
- Shift readiness: Willingness to work in a 24-hour shift system, demonstrating the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
- Report writing skills: Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
- Communication skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Confidentiality: High level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Relationship-building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
