Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Software, you will play a pivotal role in steering the company’s technical vision and leading the software engineering teams to success. Your work will directly impact the scalability, performance, and reliability of their gaming platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

Technical Leadership: Drive the company’s software architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance across all platforms.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to define technical roadmaps, align software development with business goals, and support overall growth strategies.
Hands-On Engineering: While this is a leadership role, you’ll remain technically hands-on, providing guidance on complex coding challenges when needed.
Technology Stack Ownership: Oversee development efforts primarily using Golang and Node.js, ensuring best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Process Optimization: Continuously improve software development processes, implement agile methodologies, and ensure efficient workflows.
Recruitment & Talent Development: Play an active role in attracting, hiring, and developing top engineering talent as the team continues to grow.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a results-driven, strategic thinker who can balance hands-on technical expertise with high-level leadership. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building scalable systems, leading diverse teams, and driving innovation in fast-paced environments.

Key Qualifications:

Proven Leadership: 5+ years of experience in a senior technical leadership role (e.g., Head of Software, Engineering Manager, CTO, Lead Engineer, etc.).
Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development with hands-on experience in Golang and/or Node.js.
Scalable Systems: Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining large-scale, distributed systems.
People Management: Strong track record of leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
Agile Mindset: Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies and best practices.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
iGaming or Tech Industry Experience (Preferred): While not mandatory, experience in iGaming, fintech, or other high-traffic, data-intensive industries is a plus.
Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but practical experience and a strong portfolio matter more.
