Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design and lead the development of our core financial systems. This role is ideal for a technical expert with strong leadership capabilities, ready to drive innovation and ensure the technical excellence of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and develop high-performance, scalable microservices using Go and gRPC
- Develop robust testing strategies to ensure the reliability of complex, distributed systems
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and complex queries to enhance performance
- Build and maintain message-queue architectures to enable asynchronous processing at scale
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement secure and efficient financial business logic
- Conduct code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality across the platform
- Mentor and guide junior developers, supporting their growth and contributing to our technical documentation
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements:
- Proven experience with backend development in Go, with a focus on building scalable microservices
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and experience in query optimization
- Proficiency with gRPC, REST, and message-queue technologies (e.g., SQS, Kafka)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including deployment and scaling best practices
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing patterns
- Strong background in testing strategies for backend services, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience using testing frameworks and tools relevant to Go and distributed systems
