We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Football Content Writer – Match Commentary / Trends Focus
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Write engaging posts about trending football news, injuries, transfer updates, and fan reactions
- Focus on local fan language, football banter, and meme-style expressions
- Support content editor in producing witty copy for Facebook/Twitter/Telegram posts
- May be asked to write basic video scripts (30-60 sec talking points)
Requirements
- Must have high follower count and active in social media (at least 8,000 followers please)
- Deep familiarity with Nigerian football culture, banter, and meme language
- Proven experience writing short, impactful social media posts
- Must write fluent, engaging Nigerian-style English
- Must be online and easy to contact within and during working hours
- Must have a computer processor intel i5 or equivalent, RAM 8gb and 10mbps stable internet connection for work
- Minimal to no power outage in your area
- Preferred but not required: Personal football page or content samples.
Salary
N320,000 – N560,000 Monthly.
